The longlist for the Best Original Song Academy Award has been revealed. Fiona Apple, Arcade Fire, the Black Keys Karen O, adele are among the 75 potential nominees.
The Songs Worthy for the coveted gold statue are: Arcade Fire's Hunger Games track "Abraham's Daughter", Fiona Apple's "Dull Tool" from This Is 40, the Black Keys' "The Baddest Man Alive" from The Man With the Iron Fists, Karen O's Frankenweenie track "Strange Love", and Adele's epic Skyfall theme.
The nominees will be announced on January 10th, and the Oscars will be hosted by Seth MacFarlane on February 24th.
